Selly Automotive is a CRM for independent and used car dealers in the United States. Tibinet is working on an integration so the AI phone agent can log leads and appointments in Selly. That integration is still in development.
Selly Automotive in brief
Selly Automotive is based in San Francisco and serves independent and used car dealers, including buy here pay here. It has its own smart call forwarding. Since 2022 Selly has been merged with AutoManager.
At a smaller dealership one person often does everything at once: selling, buying stock and answering the phone. Forwarding helps, but if nobody picks up, the caller is still gone.
Where the AI phone agent helps
- Answers when nobody is free, so no caller goes unanswered.
- Arranges test drives with interested buyers.
- Books workshop appointments by registration number and preferred day.
- Passes on repair status once the integration can read it.
- Transfers calls to sales or the workshop, on numbers you decide.
- Records questions out of hours and sends a short summary.
What the Selly integration is meant to do
Look up the caller
The agent will check whether the caller is already a customer or lead in Selly, by phone number or registration number.
Log the lead
A new buyer goes into Selly as a lead, with the car they are calling about and any test drive.
Follow-up task
The call becomes a note, with a follow-up task for the salesperson.
The integration is in development. Selly works with a large number of integration partners and asks vendors who are not yet connected to get in touch. We are seeking cooperation with Selly to gain access to its integration options.
