DealerSocket and the sales line
DealerSocket has been part of Solera since 2021. Today it is mainly a CRM and retail platform for franchised and independent dealers in the United States.
Someone calling about a car wants an answer straight away. If the salesperson is out on a test drive, that lead is often lost, or only reaches the CRM days later.
What the agent does for sales and service
- Never miss a lead. Every call is answered and recorded.
- Test drive bookings. The agent asks which car and when suits the caller.
- Workshop bookings. Registration number, type of work and preferred day are all asked for.
- Questions about an ongoing repair. The agent will pass on the status once the integration can read it.
- Call transfers. Warm to the right salesperson, or cold to service.
- Out of hours. Evening leads are ready for you in the morning, with a summary.
What the DealerSocket integration is going to do
Recognise or create the lead
The agent will look up the caller in DealerSocket and create a new lead if none exists.
Record the test drive
An agreed test drive will be added to the lead, with the car and the time.
Follow-up task for sales
The summary will be added as a note, with a task to call the customer back.
This integration is in development. We have not found a public developer portal for DealerSocket. We are seeking to work with Solera to discuss which integration options are available, so we are not giving a date.
