AI phone agent for workshops using GNX

GNX brings the workshop and the dealership together in the cloud. The phone, however, is often still handled by hand. Tibinet's AI phone agent takes those calls, and an integration with GNX is in development.

About GNX and customers who call

GNX is a cloud service and DMS from Bergen for workshops and dealers, with separate parts for the customer, the technician and the dealer. It is aimed at small workshops, chains and businesses building their own solutions.

In a small workshop the phone is under real pressure. Whoever is working on a car cannot answer. A missed call quickly becomes a missed job.

What the agent takes over

  • Answering when you cannot. A conversation instead of voicemail.
  • Workshop bookings. Registration number, fault and preferred day are all asked for.
  • Test drives. A dealer using GNX Dealer receives test drive requests in good order.
  • Questions about the repair. The agent will pass on the status once the integration can read it.
  • Call transfers. To the workshop or sales, cold or warm, on numbers you choose.
  • Out of hours. Requests are recorded, with a short summary.

The planned GNX integration

  1. Look up by registration

The agent will find the customer and vehicle in GNX by registration number.

  2. Prepare the job

A booking or work order will be ready in GNX, so the technician knows what is coming.

  3. Record the call

The summary will be added as a note to the customer.

The integration is in development. GNX mentions a two-way API and already connects with accounting packages and parts catalogues, among others. We are seeking to work with GNX to gain access to those options. There is no date yet.

Frequently asked questions

Not yet. The GNX integration is in development.

Have calls answered, callers helped, calls transferred to set numbers and receive a summary of every call.

So the agent recognises customer and car by registration number, puts bookings into GNX and records the call against the customer. Nobody has to retype anything.

Yes, through a SIP trunk or call forwarding. Some configuration is needed on your side.

We are not a GNX partner. We are seeking to work with them so we can build the integration.
