About Dstny

This page is about Dstny telephony on the Dutch market. Destiny has continued as Dstny since February 2022. Dstny supplies cloud telephony, often through partners, and in the Netherlands it has acquired Voips and OZMO, among others. Dstny also offers telephony in Microsoft Teams.

Type of provider
Cloud telephony, often through partners, and telephony in Microsoft Teams
Integration method
Forwarding to one of the agent’s numbers
Transfers
Cold, to a phone number
Agent’s number
New, or an existing number via number porting

How the integration works

  • Cloud telephony: a forward to one of the agent’s phone numbers, set up in your management portal or by your partner.
  • Teams via Dstny: ask your partner whether a route to an external SIP destination is possible. If not, use forwarding. See also connecting the AI agent to Microsoft Teams.

With call forwarding, the agent gets its own phone number from Tibinet, either a new number or an existing one via number porting. There is more on the page about forwarding calls to the AI phone agent.

What you or your administrator does

  1. A number for the agent

The agent gets its own phone number from Tibinet. This is a new number, or an existing number via number porting.

  2. Set up the forward

In your management portal, set up a forward to the agent’s number, or ask your partner to do it.

  3. Agree a transfer number

Tell us the phone number the agent may transfer callers to, for example your reception’s direct number.

  4. Test

Call your own number and choose the route to the agent. Check whether the caller’s number comes through.

  5. Teams via Dstny

Do you make calls in Microsoft Teams via Dstny? Ask your partner whether a route to an external SIP destination is possible. If not, use forwarding.

Transferring to your staff

With call forwarding, the agent makes a cold transfer to a phone number you choose. The caller goes straight to that number. This way the agent can put a caller back through to your team, by transferring to a number of that team.

No phone system of your own? There is an alternative

You can also take your business telephony entirely from Tibinet, with the AI agent as a destination in your IVR menu, in a queue or outside opening hours. Your current numbers can move with you via number porting. Read more about hosted telephony from Tibinet.
